MSU netmen drop narrow decision

Montana State opened its home season with a narrow loss to Montana in men's tennis action Saturday.

UM grabbed the doubles point, then won three of the six singles matches to claim the win. Four of the six singles matches were decided in three sets. Niklas Brandes won at no. one singles, a thrilling 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 6-2 win for his third straight victory. Diego Campos and Alberto Fuentes each snapped four match losing streaks with wins, and they also won their doubles match.
