Montana State Women Open Hoop Slate at Colorado State

The Montana State women's basketball team will open its 2012-13 season at Colorado State on Sunday afternoon.
SEASON OPENER:
With two exhibition games under their belts, the Montana State women's basketball team will open its 2012-13 campaign in the Centennial State, beginning at Mountain West foe Colorado State, Sunday, Nov. 11 in Fort Collins. Tipoff is slated for 2 p.m. in Moby Arena. The Bobcats will conclude their road trip on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the University of Denver in the Mile High City.
ON THE AIR:
Montana State women's basketball games can be heard on KMMS 1450 AM. Should a conflict occur with Bobcat men's basketball, the women's broadcast will be moved back to its original flagship at My 103.5 FM. First-year play-by-play man Adam Seidel will begin his broadcast 15-minutes prior to tip.
SERIES RECORDS:
Montana State and Colorado State will be meeting for the 11th time on Sunday with the series knotted at 5-5. The Rams have won three-of-the-last-four outings, but the Bobcats captured an 87-69 decision last November in Worthington Arena. MSU was paced in the win by Katie Bussey with 20 points, followed by Ashley Brumwell and Rachel Semansky with 13 and ten points, respectively. Denver holds a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series with the Bobcats dating back to the 2007 season. MSU's lone victory in the series was an 81-69 decision in Worthington Arena on Dec. 15, 2007.
QUICK LOOK:
Head coach Tricia Binford begins her 8th season at the helm of the Bobcat program. Last winter, she became MSU's all-time winningest coach. Her current ledger stands at 103-106 and 59-51 in Big Sky action. The Bobcats return eight letterwinners, including four starters - two-time All Big Sky pick Rachel Semansky, Ashley Brumwell, Jackie Elliott and Latisha Adams. MSU went 19-11 overall and 10-6 (3rd) in Big Sky play last season.
