Women's Golf Looks to Rebound at Day Two of Circling Raven

Montana State Women's Golf opened the first day of the Circling Raven Collegiate Invitational tied for 16th out of 22 participating schools after carding a 638 (320-318). MSU sits just seven shots out of 10th place. Washington State leads the field with 605 (307-298), 29 over par. (Individual Results | Team Results | Combined Results)
The Bobcats currently sit in 16th along with Big Sky Conference Member Weber State. Paige Crawford was the top finisher for the Blue and Gold after day one after shooting 79 (+7) in the opening round and 75 (+3) in the second. She sits in a sxi-way tie for 16th.
The overall leader was Caitlin McCleary from Seattle, with an impressive score of 140 (-4).
“This is a very tough course with fast greens,” said head coach Brittany Basye. “We came out a little nervous but I've seen some great things. Tomorrow we need to be more aggressive and trust our game.”
The final round of 18 begins at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Circling Raven Golf Course.
