Bobcat Women Cruise to Final Victory on Costa Rica Trip

Rachel Semansky and Lyndi Seidensticker each chipped in 21 points and eight rebounds to pace the Montana State women’s basketball team to an 88-14 win over San Ramon, Sunday afternoon, in its final game of the Costa Rica foreign tour.

Rachel Semansky and Lyndi Seidensticker each chipped in 21 points and eight rebounds to pace the Montana State women's basketball team to an 88-14 win over San Ramon, Sunday afternoon, in its final game of the Costa Rica foreign tour.

MSU closed out the first half on a 40-0 run to cruise to the victory.

In all, five Bobcats hit double-figures, including Latisha Adams 14, Katie Bussey 12 and Ausha Cole 10. Cole and Bussey dished out nine and seven assists, respectively, while Adams paced MSU under the glass with nine rebounds.

“We accomplished what we wanted for the trip,” said MSU head coach. “We were able to work some new things into the offense, and we were able to establish some new identities for our younger kids on the floor.”
