Women's Golf Sits in 18th after Day One of the Cowgirl Classic

The MSU Women's Golf team completed the first day of the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at Ocotillo Golf Resort in Chandler, Ariz. on Monday. (Individual Results | Team Results)
Montana State currently sits in 18th place of 23 teams, after the first two rounds of play. The Bobcats carded an overall score of 645 (323-322, +69). Big Sky Conference member Portland State leads all teams with a one-day total of 581 (294-287).
The Bobcats top finishers were Paige Crawford (78-79) and Leslie McGetrick (76-81) who both sit in a four-way tie for 46th (+13). Britney Yada of Portland State sits at the top of the leaderboard after carding a 141 (71-70; -3).
A final round of 18 holes will be played Tuesday at Ocotillo, a 6,814 yard, Par 72 course.
