The Montana State Women's Golf team tallied a combined score of 319 (76-77-82-84-89) after the first round of the Big Sky Championship. Northern Arizona is the host of the three day tournament taking place at Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz. The 6,162 yard, par 72 course was also the home of the 2010 spring championship. Portland State currently holds the top spot at 303 (72-75-77-79-79), 15 over par. The Vikings' Britney Yada is the sole leader at 72.
MSU's overall leader is freshman Paige Crawford, who has been on a steady rise throughout the spring campaign. Crawford is tied for ninth at 76 (+4).
The Bobcats tee off Tuesday, April 19, beginning at 7:15 a.m. at Ocotillo. Live stats will be available through Golfstat.
