The Montana State Women's Golf Team opened up the first day of competition at the Snowbird Invitational with a rough start. (Team Results | Individual Results)

As a team, MSU currently sits in seventh place out of 11, at Pebble Creek Golf Course, a 6,436 yard, par 72 championship course. The Bobcats currently have a combined score of 328 (+40). St. Leo (Fla.) holds the top spot after the opening day at 301 (+13).

Kelly O'Brien leads all Bobcats as she carded a 78 (40-38) and sits solo in 15^th place. The overall individual leader after day one is Jordan Hatch from St. Leo, at one under par (71; 35-36).

Melissa Hulstrand (38-45) and Paige Crawford (42-41) finished the day in 33^rd place carding an 83.

Leslie McGetrick, the high finisher for MSU at the Red Rocks Invitational (Feb. 26) currently sits in 40^th place with a score of 84 (43-41).

Rounding out the Bobcat golfers is Molly Dorans in 53^rd (90; 42-48)

The tournament will conclude tomorrow, March 18.
