The Montana State women's basketball team will begin a stretch of three games on the road beginning with a showdown with second place Northern Colorado on Thursday night in Greeley. After defeating Northern Arizona and Weber State in Worthington Arena last weekend, the Bobcats moved to 14-9 overall and 8-1 in Big Sky Conference action. MSU leapfrogged over UNC for the league's top spot as the Bears dropped a 67-60 road decision at Portland State last Saturday. Northern Colorado is 13-10 overall and 8-2 in Big Sky play. MSU took the first meeting between the two schools this season on Jan. 8, 84-75, in Worthington Arena. Montana State will face Sacramento State on Saturday afternoon in the Hornet's Nest. Sacramento State, who will face Montana on Thursday, is 3-19 overall and 0-9 in league action. MSU opened the conference season with a 106-55 win over Sacramento State in Bozeman on Jan. 6.
