MSU returns to the links after a two week hiaitus
Montana State Women's Golf returns to action today, Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate. The two-day match will take place at the Classic Club, a 6,144 yard/par 72 course in Palm Desert, Calif.
The 15 team field includes Big Sky Conference teams Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Portland State and Weber State.
Saturday's play will feature two rounds of 18, followed by one round of 18 on Sunday.
Coming into the Desert Intercollegiate, the Bobcats will look to sophomore Paige Crawford who has led the Bobcat women golfers thus far in the 2011 fall season. The quintet of Crawford, Molly Dorans, Melissa Hulstrand, Leslie McGetrick and Kelly O'Brien will look to continue along the steady road of improvement.
“As always, we're just excited to get out and play,” said head coach Brittany Basye. “Each time we get out on the course, it's a chance to play better, learn more and compete.”
