The Montana State women’s basketball team will begin its 2011-12 campaign when it hosts the University of Mary in an exhibition game, Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7:05 p.m., in Worthington Arena.

The Montana State women's basketball team will begin its 2011-12 campaign when it hosts the University of Mary in an exhibition game, Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7:05 p.m., in Worthington Arena.
PILOT OF THE AIRWAVES:
All Montana State women's basketball games - exhibition through postseason - will be carried live on KZMY 103.5 FM - The Sky. Tyler Wiltgen will enter his fifth year calling the action. Wiltgen's pregame show begins 20-minutes prior to tip off.

Montana State returns three starters from its squad that went 17-14 overall and 11-5 in Big Sky action last winter. Returning are first-team All Big Sky selection Rachel Semansky, second-team pick Katie Bussey, and point-guard Ausha Cole. In addition, the Bobcats return seven letterwinners and welcome six newcomers.
SOMETHING ABOUT MARY:
The University of Mary posted a 13-13 overall mark last winter. The Marauders return its top two scorers in Ali Collins (11.2 ppg) and Shaunna Knife (10.4 ppg). Mary is coached by Fred Fridley, who is in his ninth season.
