Bobcats to Play at Bengal Classic

MSU travels to Idaho State for two-day match
The Montana State Women's Golf will look to continue their improvement at the Bengal Classic, hosted by Idaho State, on Saturday, Oct. 15. The two day match will take place at Riverside Golf Club in Pocatello, Idaho.
Other programs participating include Weber State and Southern Utah. The four schools will play 18 holes of stroke play on Saturday and 18 of match play on Sunday.
The Bengal Classic marks the penultimate match of the fall season and will provide another opportunity for the Bobcats, who have been steadily gaining momentum throughout the season, to compete.
“Each time we're out on the course, we're becoming more comfortable as competitors,” said head coach Brittany Basye. “Course management is a huge priority at this point of the season, as well as the players' recognizing their abilities and talent.”
Last time out, MSU finished 13th of 15 teams at the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, Calif. Despite a tough first day, the Bobcats rallied by dropping 24 strokes from their opening round score on the final day to card a 314.
