Memphis Leads Bobcat Invite After Day One

O'Brien Leads 'Cats
The University of Memphis took the team lead after day one of the Bobcat Invite at Riverside Country Club in Bozeman with a combined score of seven-over-par 291. Marissa Steen (Memphis) was the only golfer to score even par 71 on the first day. Teammate Julia Hodgson was right behind at 72.
The Bobcats were led by Kelly O'Brien (so.), Melissa Hultstrand (so.) and freshman Paige Crawford, all with a 76. The Cats ended day one in third place with a team score of 311. Cal State Fullerton is in second with 303. The team score is a total of the top four players on each team. Golfers playing as individuals cannot score for the team.
