Track and Field Qualifies Ten for NCAA Western Regional

The NCAA announced the field for the West Region track and field meet Friday and Montana State qualified ten student-athletes.
Women who will attend the regional in Austin, Texas on Friday and Saturday May 28-29 include sophomore Heather Haug in the 1500, junior Jessie Greany in the high jump, junior Stacey Irvine in the pole vault, senior Kris Schaffer in the shot put, senior Alli Jones in the shot put, junior Kirstin Lee in the discus, and junior Emily Tyrrell in the javelin.
Men who qualified included senior Matt Adams in the steeple chase and 5000 meter-run, senior Pat Eckerson in the hammer throw, and sophomore Willy Sullivan in the javelin throw.
