Montana State golfers are in 18th place of 23 teams after the first round of play at the Cowgirl Invite in Chandler, Arizona.

Molly Dorans, Kelly O'Brien and Elise Nelsen are knotted at 19-over par and tied for 72nd place in the field. The final round of play is Tuesday.
