Bobcats in Ninth After Round Two of Bulddog/Eagle Invite

A settling of nerves in the second round of the Bulldog/Eagle Invite helped Montana State climb to ninth place after the second round of golf at the Hangman Golf Club outside Spokane.
Four of the top five golfers on the scoring squad cut strokes off their rounds to finish Monday. The last round of 18 holes will be played Tuesday.
Sophomore Leslie McGetric is the only Bobcat in the top five to have played as a scorer last season. She finished the first day with a 81-83 to tie for 51st. The Bobcats are led in scoring by freshman Melissa Hulstrand who shot a 79-72 to tie for 7th.
Sage Suffecool of Gonzaga leads the field with a 144. Carissa Simmons, sister of former Bobcat Stephanie Simmons who plays for Montana, is in second with a 148.
