Track and Field Squad Opens With Annual Blue and Gold Meet Sunday

Montana State's track and field team will host their annual Blue and Gold Intrasquad meet on Sunday, Dec. 13 at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. Events will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the unique indoor javelin throw.
"This meet is a good opportunity for us as coaches and for the student-athletes to see where we are at the end of the fall coming into the indoor season," head coach Dale Kennedy said. "We have a limited indoor roster and the kids are all vying for a spot on that roster."
The flat track meet is open to the public free of charge. Track and field events will both begin around 2:00.
"This is a good opportunity for our fans to see the new talent we have on the team and see the veterans perform," Kennedy said.
