Brad Buckland contributed with two of Montana State's five points in the team's Cat-Griz dual victory on April 23 in Bozeman. The Bobcats earned a 5-2 win over Montana to clinch a share of the Big Sky regular season title. Buckland, with teammate Marcos Zelver, claimed a No. 3 double win to get MSU off to a 1-0 early advantage. Buckland represented the Bobcats in No. 4 singles and got off to a strong start. He took his first set against Gustav Theilgaard 6-4, but dropped the second 6-4. He rebounded by defeating his Griz foe 6-2 in the third set to help push the Bobcats closer to the dual win. Buckland finished the regular season 11-9 during the dual season.
