Duncan Hamilton won Oklahoma State’s Weis-Crockett/Pre-Nationals Invitational with an 8-kilometer time of 23:28.8. This was the fifth — and arguably the biggest — win of his collegiate cross country career.

Hamilton was one of three Bobcats in the top-10 and four who went sub-24 on the hilly course, and his finish helped the Bobcats win the team title over No. 29 California Baptist by a 62-63 margin. Team-wise, he helped MSU have its best performance at a Pre-Nationals race in recent memory.

Hamilton was also named co-Big Sky Men’s XC Athlete of the Week for his race.
