Joaquin Espinoza was one of four winners in singles play versus Northern Arizona this past Friday, but his match served as the clincher in a 4-3 dual victory over the Lumberjacks in Bozeman. The Bobcats trailed 3-2, but at No. 6 singles MSU claimed a win by Georgios Nouchakis to tie it at 3-3. Espinoza, playing a spot up at No. 5 singles, had a competitive first set. He eventually earned a 7-6 (10-8) first set win. Espinoza controlled things in the second set and earned a sweep with a 6-1 victory. His victory helped the men's tennis team improve to 5-0 in Big Sky action with three duals remaining in April.
