Age Solheim had three strong performances to open the NCAA ski season at the Denver Invitational this past weekend. Solheim began the RMISA Alpine qualifier on Friday by taking second in the giant slalom. The following day, as part of the DU Invitational, Solheim finished third in the giant slalom and led after his opening run. In the slalom on Sunday, Solheim placed second with a time of 1:34.50. His mark was less than two-tenths of a second from taking the top spot in the event.
