Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in five meets for the Bobcats … Earned an individual-best sixth place finish in the mile at the Bobcat Invitational (Feb. 2) with a time of 5:23.89 … Also ran in the 3,000 and 5,000 during the season … Named to the Big Sky Winter All-Academic Team.
Outdoor (Sophomore): Did not compete in any events.
2016-17 Season
Cross Country (Freshman): Competed in three meets for the Bobcats ... Finished seventh in the MSU lineup in each ... Took 66th overall with a time of 18:13 in the opening MSU-Bozeman Running Co. Invitational ... Placed 26th at the Montana Invite ... Ran at the Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind., and finished 276th in a time of 23:48.4.
Indoor (Freshman): Competed in five meets during the season … Finished a season-best fourth individually in the 3,000 (10:28.21) at the Powder River Dual on Jan. 28 … Also earned fourth as part of the MSU distance medley relay at the Mountain States Games (Feb. 11) … Participated in the 800, Mile and 3,000 … Named to the Big Sky All-Academic Team.
Outdoor (Freshman): Appeared in five meets for the Bobcats … Placed second overall in the 3,000 steeplechase (12:00.49) during the Cat-Griz Dual (April 22) … Put together three fourth-place showings in individual events … Participated in the 1,500, 3,000 steeple and the 5,000 over the course of the outdoor slate.
High School: Graduated from Lyons Senior High School in 2016 ... Four-time letterwinner in both cross country and track and field ... Earned all-state honors back-to-back years in cross country by taking fourth and fifth, respectively, as a senior and junior at the Colorado state championships ... Member of state championship team junior year ... State qualifier for the Class 2A State Track and Field Championships all four years of prep career ... Earned a state title in the 4x800 in 2015 ...
