2020-21 Season: Participated in three events at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships … Finished fourth individually in the long jump with a leap of 19-00.50 (5.80m) … Mark is tied for fifth best in program history … Placed ninth in the 100 hurdles (14.34) … Member of MSU’s 4x100 relay that placed fourth and came in with a converted time of 46.49 seconds that is eighth fastest at MSU … Competed in nine total meets between the indoor and outdoor schedules … Ten total top-three showings ... Had two runner-up performances at the Tom Gage Classic on May 5 ... Named to the Big Sky Winter and Spring All-Academic Team ... Selected as a letterwinner by the coaching staff.
2019-20 Season
Indoor (Freshman): Competed in six meets for the Bobcats … Ended season by finishing 10th in the 60 hurdles (8.95) and 14th in the long jump (17-06.25) at the Big Sky Conference Championships … Long jump mark was her personal best … Took first in the 60 hurdles the week prior with a lifetime best 8.89 seconds … Named the Big Sky Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for her performance … Made the 60 hurdles finals at the Stacy Dragila Invitational on Jan. 17 … Had two other third-place showings … Named to the Big Sky Winter and Spring All-Academic Teams.
Background: Capped her prep career for the Edina Hornets in 2019 with a standout performance at the MSHSL State Track and Field Championships ... Earned gold in the Class AA 100-meter hurdles finals behind a personal-best time of 14.39 seconds and claimed bronze in the 300 hurdles (44.00) ... Won section and conference titles in both events as both a junior and senior, while she finished in the top six individually in the long jump at the section championship back-to-back years ... As a junior, took fourth in the 100 hurdles and sixth in the 300 hurdles at the MSHSL Class AA Championships ... Set personal bests as a Hornet in the 100 hurdles (14.39), 300 hurdles (43.81) and the long jump (17-08) ... Made her first contributions to the Edina track and field squad when she finished in the top eight in both hurdle events at the Lake Conference championships as a freshman ... Improved her cause at Edina's conference meet as a sophomore when she finished first in the 100 hurdles, second in the 300 hurdles and sixth in the long jump ...
