Played in six games to begin the season before suffering a season-ending injury…at the time was leading team averaging 13.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game…shot 43.7% from the field and 77.8% at the line…recorded season best 23 points in win over New Mexico…pulled down season high 14 points against New Mexico at the Cancun Challenge…dished out three assists on three occasions…registered four games with two blocks…tallied season high four steals in win over San Jose State…averaged 25.8 minutes per game…named Big Sky Player of the Week for her play at the Cancun Challenge where she averaged 18.5 points and 10 rebound per game, while shooting 50% from the floor.

Played in all 35 games, including seven starts…averaged 15.9 minutes per game…finished season averaging 5.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest…shot 37.9% from the field and 74.1% from the free throw line…posted four double-figure scoring games, including a season-best 17 points at North Dakota…against the Fighting Hawks, went four-of-nine from the field and a career-high nine-of-ten from the free throw line…also pulled down 10 rebounds against North Dakota for her only double-double of the season…tallied 12 games with five or more rebounds…hauled down seven boards against #2 Stanford in first-round of NCAA tournament…posted a career-best four assists against North Texas on November 26…had season-high two steals on six occasions…registered 11 blocks on the season…hit only three-pointer of season versus North Texas…was a Big Sky Conference All-Academic selection.
FRESHMAN (COVID: 2020-21)
Returns as MSU’s second-leading scorer from 2020-21 season…as a true-freshman, came off the bench and played in all 24 games, averaging 17.9 minutes per contest…ended the season averaging 6.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game…shot 43.3% from the field, 33.3% from long range and 80.6% from the free throw line…tallied five games in double-figure scoring, including a season-high 22 points as the Bobcats knocked-off Northern Arizona on Jan. 23 in Worthington Arena…against NAU, connected on 10-14 from the field…also hauled down seven rebounds and added two assists and a steal against the Lumberjacks…registered a season-best eight rebounds on two occasions, coming against Northern Colorado and Northern Arizona…posted season-high five steals in quarterfinals of the Big Sky Conference Tournament against Sacramento State…was an All-Big Sky Conference Academic honoree…named MSU’s most improved player.
HIGH SCHOOL:
As a senior, Deden averaged 16.2 ppg, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 4.0 steals and 3.0 blocks per game… earned first team all-conference and all-state accolades…led her team to a 17-4 Class AA conference record in the 2019-20 season…team took second at divisionals and was unable to finish at state due to Covid-19…was a four-year letterwinner in basketball and a four-year academic all-state recipient, as well…was captain her junior and senior season…for her career she scored over 1,000 points and was named the 2020 Basketball Player of the Year for the Missoulian State Publications…was selected as a member of the 2020 Montana All-Star Girls’ Basketball Team…was voted athlete of the week several times…had an overall 3.8 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society, carrying a 4.0 GPA in engineering for four years…as a junior, averaged 15.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 steals, 2.2 blocks and 2.1 assists per game…was a first-team all-state and all-conference selection…as a sophomore, garnered second-team all-conference accolades and was all-state honorable mention…a three-year letterwinner, helped Spartans to 2017 and 2018 Montana Class AA state runner-up finishes.

Deden is another signee that has ties to Montana…her mother Dawn (Silliker) Deden played for Montana from 1984-88…at UM, she was a 1,000-point scorer and was an All-Mountain West Conference selection…in addition, her aunt and head coach at Sentinel High School, Karen Deden, was a standout at the University of Washington and is in the Husky Hall of Fame.
