Indoor (Senior): Capped season by taking runner-up in the shot put at the Big Sky Indoor Championships … Earned silver medal by completing a throw of 57-02.75 … Moved up to third all-time in program history in the shot put with a toss of 60-05.25 … Mark was 42nd best in the nation and was the top throw in the event on the Big Sky performance list … Selected as the Big Sky’s Field Athlete of the Week on Dec. 5 and Jan. 30 … Placed first in shot put in six of eight meets competed in.
Outdoor (Senior): Completed collegiate career with stellar senior campaign … Closed out Big Sky meet showings by claiming gold in the discus and silver in the shot put … Achieved personal best in discus en route to first-place finish … Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in Sacramento in both events … Placed eighth at the West Regional in the discus to advance to first career NCAA Championship … Became third Bobcat to compete at NCAA meet at historic Eugene Field on June 8 … Finished as an honorable mention All-American by taking 17th in a field of 24 with a mark of 176-10 … Completed MSU tenure with second all-time program marks in the shot put (60-01.25) and discus (192-05) … Both marks finished atop the Big Sky performance list … Lifetime best throw in the discus was seventh best in the region and 16th in the nation … Shot put was 26th ranked in the region and 51st in Division I … Named Big Sky’s Field Athlete of the Week on April 24 following Beach Invitational … Finished among top five in individual standings in all three meets team competed in on trips to California.
