2021-22 Season: Sat out the season as a redshirt ... Ran unattached in two cross country races ... Placed ninth at the Bobcat Time Trials with a 5K time of 15:59.9 ... Ran a 26:09.30 8K time at the MSU Cross Country Invite to place 27th.
Background: Graduated from Broomfield High School in 2021 … Senior season highlighted by appearances at both the Colorado Cross Country and Track and Field Championships … Placed sixth at the Cross Country Championships with a 5K attached personal-best time of 15:47.4 … Set lifetime bests in the 3200 (9:19.54) and the 1600 (4:18.70) to finish sixth and ninth, respectively, at the Colorado Track and Field Championships … Had five top-five cross country finishes in the fall including a first-place showing in September … Also ran unattached and placed fourth at the Colorado Classic XC Meet behind a personal record 15:06 … Junior year had all-time best third place showing at regional meet … Advanced to state cross country meet on three occasions … Also competed at the NXR Southwest Region Championships … Played hockey as well during prep career.
