Cross Country (Sophomore): Ran in two meets for the Bobcats … Finished 13th overall, and eighth among Bobcat runners, at the opening MSU Cross Country Classic by completing a time of 26:04.99 … Also took 29th at the Montana Invitational with a mark of 26:10.00.
Indoor (Sophomore): Did not compete in any events.
2017-18 Season
Cross Country (Freshman): Wrapped up season finishing as Bobcats’ top placing runner in final four meets of the year … Highest showing came in a runner-up finish at the Montana Invitational on Sept. 29 … Placed 13th overall at the Big Sky Championships … Second fastest freshman in men’s meet … Earned best overall finish by a Bobcat at conference championship in four years … Capped year by taking 36th at the Mountain Region Championships.
Indoor (Freshman): Participated in two events for the Bobcats at the Big Sky Indoor Championships … Finished an individual-high 16th overall in the 3,000 … Competed in seven meets … Earned a season-best third-place finish at the Bobcat Invitational (Feb. 2) in the 5,000 … Achieved personal bests in the mile (4:31.22) and 2,000 (8:57.10) … Named to Big Sky Winter All-Academic Team.
Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in five meets over the course of the season … Appeared in two events at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships … Took 13th in the 10,000 and 36th in the 5,000 … Recorded a personal-best time of 31:38.54 in the 10,000 … Placed third in the 5,000 in MSU’s victory at the Cat-Griz Dual on April 28 on Missoula … Set personal bests during the season in the 1,500 (4:12.73) and the 5,000 (14:56.61).
High School: A 2017 graduate and three-time letterwinner in cross country and track from Dana Hills High School ... Participated at the Nike Cross Nationals in December of 26th, finishing 57th overall, an improvement of 20 spots from his first appearance at the meet as a junior ... Earned a career-best 13th-place finish at the CIF State Cross Country Championships as a senior behind a lifetime-best mark of 15:31.4, one week after taking 14th in Dana Hills’ CIF-SS Division Finals ... Made three appearances at the cross country state championships and was a multiple-year selection to his all-league team ... Participated on the Dana Hills High track and field team ...
