SOPHOMORE (2021-22):
Played in 29 games and averaged 9.1 minutes per outing…averaged 1.7 points per game, including a season-high eight points on two occasions, the last coming against Northern Arizona in the Big Sky Conference Tournament championship game…against the Lumberjacks, hit three field-goals, including one three-pointer…also notched two assists and two steals in the title tilt…also posted eight points at South Dakota State on November 18, which included a pair of triples…dished out a season-high three assists in MSU’s win at Northern Arizona on February 12…averaged 4.0 points and 1.3 steals per game in Big Sky tourney action.
FRESHMAN (COVID: 2020-21):
Ranson played in 23 of 24 games for the Bobcats as a true-freshman and averaged 3.1 points per game…recorded a season-high 12 points as MSU defeated Northern Arizona in Worthington Arena on Jan. 21, 2021…against the Lumberjacks her points came from beyond the arc, connecting on four-of-five from distance…ended the season connecting on 13 triples…pulled down a season-best three rebounds in the Bobcats win over Montana in Missoula on Jan. 30, 2021…dished out a season-high three assists at Eastern Washington and had two steals against Idaho in the semifinals of the Big Sky Conference Tournament…was an All-Big Sky Conference Academic selection.
HIGH SCHOOL:
As a senior, Ranson led the 5A Southern Idaho Conference in scoring for the second year in a row, averaging 18.7 points per game…ranked second in the league in assists…led Timberline High School to its first state championship game since 2004…was named 5A SIC Co-Player of the Year as well as first team all-state…holds three scoring records at THS, including points in a game (36), points in a season (489) and career points (1,442)…was named Timberline’s Female Athlete of the Year, Idaho Press Tribune Girls Basketball Player of the Year, Idaho Press Tribune Girls Overall Athlete of the Year, and was a McDonald’s All-American finalist…was a four-year starter on the girls varsity soccer team where she was named 5A First-Team SIC and First-Team All-State…ranked second in the league for goals scored…as a junior, led the Southern Idaho Conference in scoring averaging 18.3 points per game…a first-team all-state selection, helped guide Timberline to its first state tournament appearance in 13 years, guiding the Wolves to a third place finish…as a sophomore, was the second leading scorer in the SIC averaging 14.6 points per game…was ranked first in the conference in assists…was a second-team all-state pick…played AAU with Hoop Dreams, the same program that produced current Bobcat Darian White.
