2019-20 Season
Indoor (Freshman): Competed in seven meets for the Bobcats … Finished 11th at the Big Sky Conference Championships in the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.22 seconds … Took runner-up in the event at the Stacy Dragila Invitational (Feb. 17) with a time of 8.06 … Time ended season as fourth best in program history … Set college bests in the 60 (7.11) at the Bobcat Preview on Dec. 6 and in the 200 (22.94) at the Stacy Dragila Invite … Had six top-three showings over course of season including a first-place effort in the 60 hurdles at the MSU Indoor Open (Feb. 7) … Named to the Big Sky Conference Winter and Spring All-Academic Teams … Selected as a letterwinner by the coaching staff.
Background: Graduated from Huntley Project High School in 2019 after record breaking prep career … Became Montana’s All-Class Record holder in the 110-meter hurdles at the MHSA Class B State Meet as a senior … Repeated as state champion in the event with a time of 14.14 seconds … Also repeated as runner-up at the meet in the 300 hurdles with a lifetime best mark of 38.90 seconds in the 300 hurdles … Helped lead the Red Devils to a team title with a Class B record 122 points … Won two consecutive gold medals at the state meet in the 4x100 relay … Took first at the Class B meet as a senior in the 4x400 relay and earned silver as a junior … Made trips to state meet every year at Huntley Project … Strong performances at the Montana Association and Region 11 Junior Olympic Championships to earn the opportunity to compete at the USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Championships in July of 2018 … Named the 2018 Athlete of the Year for the Montana Association of USA Track and Field … Took first at Simplot Games in February of 2019 in the 60 hurdles with a personal-best time of 8.09 seconds.
