2012-13: Indoor- Did not make the Big Sky Championships although he did earn an automatic qualifying time in the 800 ... competed in the middle distance events. Outdoor-Competed in the 800 at the Big Sky Championships and finished 14th ... also part of conference 4x400 relay that came in sixth ... lifetime best time of 1:54.33 came at the Cat-Griz Dual ... Lone individual win of his freshman year was in the 800 at the MSU Open.
Prior to MSU: A 2012 graduate of Manhattan High School ... earned four letters in track and field and three each in basketball and cross country ... four-time Class B State Championship participant ... state runner-up in the 800 as a senior ... set a new school record in the 400 that same season ... anchored the 4x400 relay that won the state title, eventually contributing to the team's State Championship trophy ... also placed fourth at the Class B Cross Country Championship to pace the team to a state title in that sport ... member of the honor roll.
