Seidl ties for 15th to lead Bobcats at Davenport Country Club
BOZEMAN, Mont. --- The Montana State women's golf team concluded the Diane Thomason Invitational in seventh place on Tuesday, wrapping up a slate of three back-to-back tournaments to open the 2026-27 campaign.

The Cats carded a 308 in the tournament's third and final round on Tuesday, wrapping up the week with a 54-hole score of 918. Norah Seidl tied for 15th place with an individual score of 226 to lead the Bobcats, with Ashleigh Wilson posting a 230 to tie for 27th. Sailor Graham tied for 34th place with a 232, Lauren Nau carded a 234 to tie for 42nd, and Eva Heinz tied for 51st with a 240.

"Obviously wasn't the outcome we wanted – tough tournament for the Bobcats," Montana State head coach Brittany Basye said. "Norah had a great first round and we had some good shots, but we have a few things we need to work on and get back into the routine of a good pressure-packed practice and be ready for Tulsa. But overall great golf course that it was always fun to come and get to compete at. We just didn't put our best foot forward, and that happens, but we'll get ready for Tulsa."

Montana State counted a 75 from Heinz, a 77 from Wilson, and a pair of 78s from Seidl and Graham on Tuesday, while Nau posted a 79. Heinz shot par or better on 14 of 18 holes to lead the Bobcats, including nine bogey-free holes in her final 10 holes of the tournament. Wilson's best stretch of play included four consecutive bogey-free holes on Nos. 10 through 13, capped off by a birdie on hole 13. Seidl birdied three times across her round, while Graham posted back-to-back birdies on holes 12 and 13 to highlight her day in Iowa.

Tournament host Iowa (878) took the team title by 13 strokes over Missouri State (891), with St. Thomas finishing third with an 894. Bowling Green finished fourth with a 54-hole score of 902, and North Dakota State took fifth with a 911.

Bowling Green's Addison Kartusch and St. Thomas' Kathryn VanArragon shared medalist honors, carding scores of 1-under 212. Iowa duo Maura Peters and Ximena Benites posted scores of 4-over 217 to tie for third place, and St. Thomas' Nicole Reineke finished one stroke behind in fifth (5-over 218).
