Esmeralda Morales, Katelynn Martin, and Marah Dykstra were selected by a College Sports Communicators committee to the all-district team, recognizing the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Honors keep rolling in for the 2024-25 edition of Montana State women's basketball. After posting a school and Big Sky Conference record 30 victories and making the program's fourth ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament, three Bobcats have garnered CSC Academic All-District honors, the organization announced this week.
Esmeralda Morales, Katelynn Martin, and Marah Dykstra were selected by a College Sports Communicators committee to the all-district team, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The trio, along with Idaho's Hope Hassmann and Olivia Nelson, are the only players from the Big Sky Conference that move on to the national ballot for CSC Academic All-America consideration. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 16, 2025.
Morales, who just completed her senior year, is working on a liberal studies degree, while Martin, a graduate student, is working towards a master's degree in sports coaching and science. Dykstra, who will be a senior next year, is a community health major.
