Montana State sophomores Teagan Erickson and Taylee Chirrick each recorded career performances to guide the Bobcats past North Dakota, 99-57, Saturday night in Worthington Arena.
Erickson, a 6-2 forward from Saco, came off the bench to record a career-high 27 points, connecting on 11-of-17 from the field, including a five-of-six effort from long distance. Chirrick, a 5-11 guard from Roberts, posted Montana State's first triple double since March 12, 2004, notching 17 points, ten rebounds and a career-best ten assists.

Montana State (6-2) exploded out of the gate, opening up a 22-2 advantage with 3:48 remaining in the first quarter following a Brianne Bailey bucket off a fastbreak. The Bobcats built its lead to 56-21 at intermission as Erickson hit for 19 points, and Chirrick, 15.
"I thought we were very disruptive in the first half," Binford said. "And our defense led to great offensive production."
The Bobcats forced North Dakota (1-9) into sixteen turnovers, behind ten steals. MSU outscored the Fightin Hawks 26-0 in points scored off turnovers in the opening twenty minutes.
MSU shot 54.5% from the field in the second half and built its largest lead at 85-40 with 9:08 left on a jumper by Kaydence Coutre.
Sophomore Addison Harris also reached double figures with 19 points, while Ella Johnson and Issy Bunyan chipped in nine, apiece.
For the game, MSU shot 53.2% from the field, matched a season-high 13 three-pointers and owned a 38-29 advantage under the boards.
Montana State plays at the University of Oregon, Sunday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. (MT) in Eugene.
