ABOUT THE BOBCATS: Montana State is 6-2 overall after defeating North Dakota 99-57 on Saturday night in Worthington Arena. Sophomore Teagan Erickson came off the bench to guide MSU scoring a career-high 27 points, connecting on 11-17 from the field, including a five-of-six effort from beyond the arc. Also in double digits for the Cats were Addison Harris and Taylee Chirrick with 19 and 16 points, respectively. Freshman guard Jamison Philip dished out seven assists and had four rebounds.
ABOUT THE DUCKS: Oregon is 10-1 overall after dropping an 80-59 decision to #4 UCLA on Sunday in Los Angeles. Katie Fiso and Ehis Etute led the Ducks with 14 points, apiece. On the season, Fiso, a 5-11 guard from Seattle, Wash., leads UO averaging 15.5 points per game.
DULY NOTED: Taylee Chirrick posted Montana State's second ever triple-double on Saturday against North Dakota recording 16 points, ten rebounds and ten assists. Sheila Hutchison recorded MSU's first triple-double on March 12, 2004, against Idaho State at the Big Sky tournament with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and a school record 14 assists. Hutchison-O'Connor is the mother of 2025-26 MSU signee Madison O'Connor of Baker, Mont.

The Cats have picked up right where it left off this season and are currently first in the Big Sky and the nation averaging 17.6 steals per contest. Montana State opened the season with twenty steals against Carroll College and posted a season-high 21 steals at Troy on Nov. 24.
• Two Bobcats rank among the nation's top 35 in steals just eight games into 2025-26 season. Sophomore Taylee Chirrick, who is the reigning Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Year, is currently averaging 4.50 steals per game, which is tops in the Big Sky and 3rd in the country. Freshman Jamison Philip is averaging 3.00 steals per game, which is third in the Big Sky Conference and 34th in the nation.
• Taylee Chirrick is second in the Big Sky Conference and 41st in the nation with a +2.47 assist/turnover ratio.
• As a team, the Bobcats are currently ranked No. 3 in the nation in turnovers forced per game with an eye-popping 27.63 per outing. MSU turned Carroll College, Portland and Troy over 37, 33, and 31 times, respectively.

The award, in its second season, is presented by Her Hoop Stats and named after the legendary former Harvard head coach. Richmond's Aaron Rousell was named the award's second winner in 2025.
