MSU secondary sees reshuffling before Maine game
BOZEMAN, Montana – Montana State plays its 17th Gold Rush game today, and faces a first-time opponent. The Maine Black Bears traveled over 2,600 miles looking for the program's first 2-0 start since 2018. MSU has never met the Black Bears in football.
The Bobcats stand 15-1 in Gold Rush games. MSU head coach Brent Vigen is 3-0.

Montana State cornerback Jon Johnson suffered a hand injury last week against Utah Tech, and is out for today's game. Andrew Powdrell will start opposite Simeon Woodard. Cornerback Takhari Carr is also questionable today with an injury. Jhase McMillan (wearing jersey No. 12 this week) moves into the depth chart.

Linebacker Bryce Grebe is also doubtful today. Offensive linemen Burke Mastel and Jaden Perkins are also doubtful.
