Montana State, who has not had a losing campaign under Binford’s watch over the last 17 seasons, sees its longest stretch at home near the end of the season against Montana (Feb. 22), Portland State (Feb. 27), and Sacramento State (March 1).
Montana State tips-off its 20th season of Big Sky Conference play under head basketball coach Tricia Binford on Jan. 2, 2025, against Idaho in Worthington Arena, the league office announced on Thursday.
The conference will continue its 18-game (home-away) league format which culminates March 8-12 with the Big Sky Tournament in Boise, Idaho.

For the seventh time in the last ten years the Bobcats close out its league slate on the road, this season against Idaho (March 3) in Moscow.
"It's a good mix of games and it'll be nice to have five of the last eight at home," Binford said. "Obviously, the key to winning a Big Sky title depends a lot on what you do away from your homecourt.
"We're excited for the season," Binford added. "With ten returning veterans, along with a couple of dynamic transfers and an outstanding freshmen class, I think our fans will see a high-quality product on the court. With the growth of women's basketball the past year, we're looking forward to record-breaking crowds and I enthusiastically encourage our fans to purchase their season-tickets."
Montana State's complete 2024-25 schedule will be released next week.
