Honorees must have at least a 3.5 GPA and have played in 90% of their team's games.
Limardo, a senior from Silver City, N.M., led Montana State in scoring (11 ppg), rebounding (6.4 rpg) and three-point field-goals (44) this past season. The community health major recorded 19 double-figure scoring games, including a career-best 25 points as the Bobcats defeated North Texas in Worthington Arena on Dec. 21.
Janssen, a business finance major, played in all 33 games, including 27 starts. The Rosemount, Minn., native finished the season averaging 8.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Janssen recorded a career-high 17 points in MSU's win over Northern Colorado on Feb. 8.
Dykstra, a sophomore from Vancouver, B.C., played and started in 31 games. The health enhancement major also led the Bobcats in scoring averaging 11 points per game, while chipping in 5.7 rebounds. Dykstra posted a career-best 21 points as MSU defeated Big Sky champion Eastern Washington on Feb. 1 in Cheney.
Limardo joins Esmeralda Morales, Portland State, Hanah Simental, Northern Colorado, and Delaynie Byrne, Northern Colorado as the only Big Sky Conference players to move onto the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration, along with the likes of Caitlin Clark, Iowa, and Paige Bueckers, UConn.
The national ballot will be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 16, 2024.
