
Bobcat Golf Finishes First 36 Holes at Eagle Invitational in Spokane

MSU sits 10th ahead of Tuesday's final round
SPOKANE, Washington — Montana State's women's golf team wrapped up the first two rounds of competition at the Eagle Invitational in Spokane, Washington, on Monday, sitting 10th after the first 36 holes at Indian Canyon Golf Course.
The Bobcats finished with a 617 (306-311) ahead of Tuesday morning's final round. Results from Monday can be found here.
"Today wasn't our day," head coach Brittany Basye said. "We're going to regroup and see what we can bring tomorrow."
Competing individually, Jordan Briggs turned in a 6-over-par 148 (74-74) to pace the Bobcats, and is currently tied for tenth on the leaderboard heading into Tuesday.
Through 36 holes, Scarlet Weidig (76-77), Eva Heinz (76-77), and Lauren Greeny (77-76) are all tied for 32nd at 11-over-par.
In the first round, Belle Brezovski shot a 75, with Weidig (+5, 76), Heinz (+5, 76), Greeny (+6, 77) and Boraas (+6, 77) not far behind.
In the second round, an eagle from Greeny highlighted a round of 76, with Weidig and Heinz each turning in scores of 77.
Weber State leads the field through the first 36 holes at +10 (292-286), with Idaho in second place at +12 (292-288).
Weber State's Isabel Gutierrez stands atop the individual leaderboard ahead of Tuesday at –3 (71-68).
The final 18-hole round at the Eagle Invitational begins Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. PT/9:30 a.m. MT. Live scoring can be followed at Golfstat.
