Montana State Women's Team Enters Saturday's CNFR Championship Go in Second Place

Hailey Garrison in position to challenge for national title in barrel racing
Led by Hailey Garrison, Montana State's women enter Saturday night's Championship Go of the 2022 College National Finals Rodeo in second place.
A senior from Dillon, Montana, Garrison enters Saturday night's finale in third place in Barrel Racing (43.13 after three go-rounds) and 10th in goat tying (19.9 on three). Two of Garrison's teammates on the women's squad compete Saturday, as well. Tayla Moeykins is 10th in barrel racing, while Molly Salmond is 10th in breakaway roping.
Mike Nannini is the lone Bobcat on the men's team competing on Saturday. He enters the Championship Go seventh in steer wrestling.
Montana State's women's team stands in second place, still hoping to defend its 2021 National Championship. Southwest Oklahoma leads with 365.0 points, while MSU (230.0) and Cal Poly (225.0) stand in second and third. MSU's men are in 31st place.
