Boise State Edges Bobcats in Men's Tennis Friday

Broncos nip MSU 4-3
Boise State won the doubles point and Ryo Minakata clinched the team win as the homestanding Broncos nipped Montana State 4-3 in non-conference men's tennis action on Friday.
Minakata earned a 6-3, 6-3 over Joaquin Espinoza at No. 6 singles to clinch BSU's fourth point and the victory. In quick succession, three Bobcats won to make the final score 4-3. Brad Buckland got MSU into the win column and No. 4 singles, then Daan Van Dijk (at No. 1) and Jamieson Nathan (No. 3) each earned three-set wins.
The Cats fall to 10-4 on the season, while Boise State is now 6-5. Montana State takes on the University of the Pacific in Boise on Saturday afternoon at 1 pm.
