Montana State Remains in Top 20 of CollegeInsider Men's Mid-Major Poll

The Bobcats have now been part of the CollegeInsider.com Top 25 Men's Mid-Major Poll for three consecutive weeks
The Montana State men's basketball team sits among the top 25 programs for the third consecutive week in the CollegeInsider.com Men's Mid-Major Poll with the latest rankings released on Monday, Feb. 21.
MSU is ranked 19th in the latest poll with 221 points and is the only ranked Big Sky program. Weber State is receiving votes in the Feb. 21 edition of the rankings. The 'Cats remained in the top 25 following an 88-86 overtime defeat at Eastern Washington this past Thursday. MSU also claimed a 76-71 win at Southern Utah on Saturday.
The Bobcats made their 2021-22 season debut in the top 25 on Feb. 7 when they were slotted at 21st. MSU's 11-game winning streak propelled the Bobcats to the 17th spot in the rankings. The slot in the Men's Mid-Major Top 25 the last three weeks is the program's first in at least 20 years.
Montana State is in the midst of one its best seasons in recent memory with its 21-6 overall record. The Bobcats have four games remaining on their regular season schedule. MSU travels to Missoula to face Montana next on Sunday. The Bobcats close out their schedule hosting Southern Utah (Tuesday, March 1), Sacramento State (Thursday, March 3) and Northern Colorado (Saturday, March 5).
The Mid-Major Poll is made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Horizon, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast, Western Athletic.
