Bobcats Drop Monday Men's Tennis Decision at Utah State to Close Quick Road Trip

Aggies beat Montana State 7-0 in Logan
Montana State dropped a 7-0 men's tennis decision at Utah State on Monday to close out a three-match trip to Utah that covered 24 hours.
David Cierny beat Matej Panik 7-6, 6-4 at No. 1 singles to seal the Aggies' win. Utah State won the doubles point, and also grabbed singles wins at No. 2 (Bodin Zarkovic defeated Daan Van Dijk 6-3, 6-4) and No. 3 (Felipe Acost beat Jamieson Nathan 6-3, 6-2) in earning the win.
The lower ladder spots offered competitive matches. USU's Sergi Mico Fenollar took a three-set decision from Brad Buckland (4-6, 6-1, 6-4) at No. 4, while Joaquin Espinoza dropped a 6-2, 7-6, 10-2 contest to Utah State's Javier Ruiz at No. 6. USU's Roko Savin beat Nejc Sitar 7-6, 7-5 at No. 5.
The Bobcats return to action Friday, playing at North Dakota at 5 pm. The Cats play Omaha in Grand Forks Saturday at 4 pm.
