Bobcats Begin Home Basketball Season Without Fans, as MSU Women Look for New November 25 Opponent

All MSU home and conference games available via video stream and radio broadcast
BOZEMAN, Montana – Following guidance from the Gallatin City-County Health Department and Montana State University health officials, Bobcat men's and women's basketball seasons will open without fans in Worthington Arena, MSU Director of Athletics Leon Costello said on Friday.
Both MSU basketball teams begin play in the upcoming weeks. While the South Dakota School of Mines women's team canceled its game at Montana State on November 25, Costello indicated the team is working to find another home game on that date. The Bobcat women host North Dakota on December 6 and South Dakota State on December 21. The Bobcat men's team hopes to finalize its non-conference schedule in the upcoming days.
Bobcat fans still have the opportunity to catch every Montana State game this year. All men's and women's home games, and all Big Sky games, are broadcast on Pluto.tv, and all men's and women's games are broadcast on the Bobcat Radio Network and on msubobcats.com.
Costello said that Bobcat Athletics constantly monitors reports and guidelines from the NCAA, the University, and the county and state, and that MSU basketball attendance policy is constructed to respond to changing public health circumstances. ""We believe beginning our season without fans in attendance is the proper thing to do for the safety of everyone involved. We will continue to evaluate the information we receive and make decisions accordingly."
