Senior Trio Paces Bobcats on Day One at Rose City Collegiate

Three Bobcats helped carry the golf team through the opening day of the Rose City Collegiate on Monday
AURORA, Ore. – Three Bobcats helped carry the golf team through the opening day of the Rose City Collegiate on Monday, Sept. 30, at Langdon Farms Golf Club.
Seniors Kelly Hooper, Delaney Elliott and Lilly Navarre are the highest standing Bobcats after two rounds of play.
Hooper stands in a tie for 11th at 6-over-par 150 after firing rounds of 74 and 76. Elliott and Navarre each began their days by carding 79s, but rebounded in the second round to each shoot a 74 and 76, respectively. Elliott is tied for 24th with 153 strokes and Navarre is tied for 35th at 155.
Lucia Prieto Romano and Hannah Rosanova rounded out MSU's lineup. Prieto Romano shot a 165 (84-81) and Rosanova fired a 176 (90-86). They are tied for 64th and 69th place, respectively.
Coral Schulz, competing as an individual, recorded a 157 on Monday. She's tied for 39th overall. Eastern Washington's Madalyn Ardueser is alone in first place at 5-under 139.
CSU Fullerton leads the team standings with a total of 585 strokes. Montana State completed rounds of 316 and 307 and sit in 10th place with a score of 623.
The Rose City Collegiate tournament field begins final round play at 8:45 a.m. MST on Tuesday.
