Bobcat Men’s Basketball 2019-20 Home Game Times Announced

Tipoff times for all 15 home matchups have been set for the Bobcats on their 2019-20 schedule.
BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Montana State men's basketball season is rapidly approaching as the Bobcats' exhibition debut inside Worthington Arena is just over a month away. Under the guidance of first year head coach Danny Sprinkle, the Bobcats are slated to appear 15 times in their home confines.
Tipoff times for all 15 home matchups have been set for the Bobcats on their 2019-20 schedule.
Bobcat fans can see the team for the first time in competition under coach Sprinkle when Montana State hosts Yellowstone Christian in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, in Bozeman.
Montana State plays in its home opener on Saturday, Nov. 9, by hosting Rocky Mountain with action starting at 4 p.m.
The Bobcats return from the road on Nov. 26 for three consecutive contests in Worthington Arena. Montana State takes on Colorado Christian at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26. The Bobcats host a Saturday matchup against Green Bay on Nov. 30 with the start set for 6 p.m. MSU closes its homestand on Thursday, Dec. 5, versus South Dakota State with tip off scheduled for 8 p.m.
The Big Sky Conference schedule begins at the end of December and runs until early March. Montana State will host all 10 Big Sky members over the course of the 20-game league ledger.
Weeknight matchups against Northern Arizona (Dec. 30), Idaho (Feb. 6), Idaho State (Feb. 13) and Southern Utah (March 5) will all begin at 7 p.m.
Saturday games versus Sacramento State (Dec. 28), Eastern Washington (Jan. 18) and Northern Colorado (March 7) tip off at 4 p.m. Saturday Big Sky games against Portland State (Jan. 11) and Weber State (Feb. 15) are scheduled for 6 p.m. The annual Brawl of the Wild Series game between Montana and Montana State, presented by Town Pump, will begin at 7 p.m.
"It's exciting as our players will be able to see different areas of the country for the first time in their lives and will be able to play in some of the best atmospheres in all of Division I," Sprinkle said. "Our home game slate I think is really good. Getting Rocky Mountain, which has been a really solid program in the Frontier Conference, is good and it's great to have a Montana school coming in. The Wisconsin-Green Bay and South Dakota State games, those are two of the best mid-major programs in the country. It's a great chance for the people of Bozeman to come into Brick Breeden to see some quality teams.
"When I look at our schedule, it's tough. We're throwing our guys into the fire, especially the young guys, but I think it's going to benefit them by the time we hit conference. We're going to have adversity, but it's all going to be about how we respond to it. That will dictate our success during the nonconference schedule."
The Montana State men's basketball program, along with the women's program, will also host a preseason event free to the public on Oct. 18 in Worthington Arena. It will be Bobcat fans' first opportunity to see members of the teams and coaching staffs in person. Activities and promotions at the event will be released as the date gets closer.
Season tickets for the 2019-20 season are on sale now and offer your lowest per-game price. The package includes 15 home games at Worthington Arena. Montana State University students have free admission to all Bobcat basketball home contests.
Bobcat home games will be available on the Pluto TV app. Montana State's designated Pluto TV channel is 538 and can also be accessed by going to Pluto.tv/live-tv. Any contests picked up by television broadcasts will be reflected on the Montana State online schedule as they are arranged.
