Montana State versus SDSU Game on December 5 will host halftime event for Eagle Mount children
BOZEMAN, Mont. (Nov. 26, 2019) – Montana State Athletics and longtime partner Bank of Bozeman invite the community to participate in the 4th Annual Teddy Bear Toss that directly benefits children who attend Eagle Mount's Camp Braveheart.
This year's halftime "toss" will take place on Thursday, Dec. 5, at Worthington Arena. It's a doubleheader night of Bobcat basketball as the women play host to Gonzaga at 6 p.m. and the men host South Dakota State at 8 p.m. The Teddy Bear Toss will be during halftime of the men's game.
Fans are encouraged to make a $30 donation to Eagle Mount at the Bank of Bozeman to receive the official teddy bear to toss, as well as two tickets to the doubleheader on December 5. Fans also can bring brand-new teddy bears and stuffed animals to the game that evening to throw onto the court for the Teddy Bear Toss.
"Eagle Mount is so fortunate to have many generous community partners and we are thankful for the support of Bank of Bozeman and MSU Athletics," said Kevin Sylvester, Executive Director of Eagle Mount. "The Teddy Bear Toss is an awesome community event which highlights Eagle Mount's inspiring mission of celebrating people's abilities through adaptive recreation. We are grateful for this partnership and awesome community collaboration!"
"We are excited that this fun event has become an annual tradition, and Eagle Mount and Montana State Athletics are great partners," said Bank of Bozeman President Clinton Gerst.
For nearly 40 years, with the help and support of a generous community, Eagle Mount Bozeman has focused on celebrating abilities while supporting disabilities.
