Montana State’s Frey Selected to Preseason Big Sky All-Conference Team

Harald Frey represents the Bobcats as a senior on the preseason all-conference list a year after earning Big Sky Second Team honors
FARMINGTON, Utah – Montana State senior Harald Frey was named to the 2019-20 Big Sky Men's Basketball Preseason All-Conference Team the league announced on Wednesday, Oct. 16. It is Frey's first preseason recognition from the Big Sky Conference.
Frey earned Big Sky Second Team honors following his junior campaign. The Oslo, Norway, native set career highs across multiple statistical categories during the 2018-19 season including points per game (17.2), assists (5.0) and rebounds (4.5). He finished third in the Big Sky in assists per game and fourth in scoring.
The Bobcat guard enters the 2019-20 season with 1,374 points which is the 12th most in program history. Frey is also third in 3-point field goals (209), fifth in assists (372) and sits just outside the top 10 in free throws (297). Frey's resume includes the Big Sky Freshman of the Year award following the 2016-17 season.
Six players were selected to the Preseason Big Sky All-Conference Team. Weber State's Jerrick Harding was chosen as Preseason MVP. Also on the list was Montana's Sayeed Pridgett, Portland State's Holland Woods, as well as Eastern Washington's Mason Peatling and Jacob Davison.
Montana State opens the 2019-20 season on Tuesday, Nov. 5, when the Bobcats take on Utah State.
