MSU Cross Country Squads Named to USTFCCCA Team All-Academic List

The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association announced its 2017 All-Academic Cross Country teams on Friday, Feb. 9. Both the Montana State's men's and women's squads were selected among the 423 Division I teams honored by the organization.

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association announced its 2017 All-Academic Cross Country teams on Friday, Feb. 9. Both the Montana State's men's and women's squads were selected among the 423 Division I teams honored by the organization.

The Bobcat women's team accumulated a 3.61 grade point average during the 2017 fall semester. Trisha Carlson, Anna French, Caroline Hardin, Morgan Jones, Samantha Kelderman, Madison Liechty, Layne Oliver, Joby Rosenleaf and Chiara Warner were all recognized previously as 2017 Big Sky Conference Fall All-Academic team selections.

The MSU men's team produced a 3.27 cumulative GPA during the last semester. Chris Bianchini, Cameron Carroll, Riley Collins, Brandon Hough and Andrew Vandine were the Bobcats' selections to the conference All-Academic team this past fall.
