A QUICK LOOK: Hot Second Half Leads Northern Arizona Past Bobcats

Lumberjacks shoot 56% after intermission
Northern Arizona outscored Montana State 45-39 in the second half on its way to a 77-75 win over the Bobcats on Thursday, the Lumberjacks' first Big Sky win of the season.
The teams battled on nearly even terms in the first half, with MSU taking a 36-32 lead into halftime. MSU shot 44.8% before halftime and NAU 45.8%, but the visiting Lumberjacks shot 55.6% in the second half while outscoring the Bobcats 45-39. Devonte Klines led the Cats with 15 points, while Sam Neumann followed with 14 points on 80% (4-for-5) from three-point range. Joe Mvuelzolo put up 11 points and made all four of his free-throws. He scored five points in the game's final 15 seconds to give the Cats a chance.
NAU was led by Torry Johnson who scored a career-high 27 points. Gino Littles and Karl Harris contributed 14 points each.
The Bobcats return to the Brick Breeden on Saturday to face Southern Utah at 2 pm.
