Tyler Hall Adds Lute Olson Award Watch List to Resume

MSU junior now mentioned on two national preseason award watch lists
Just days from the beginning of Montana State's 2017-18 the preseason offered one more bit of news for Bobcat junior Tyler Hall, when he became one of 40 players nationally named to the 2017-18 Lute Olson National Player of the Year Award Watch List. The award is presented annually to players with at least two seasons of Division I basketball.
The award, named in honor of the man who won 780 games during a 34-season coaching career that included time at Long Beach State, Iowa and Arizona. The North Dakota native played collegiately at Augsburg University in Minneapolis.
Hall, originally from Rock Island, Illinois, has scored 1,317 career points in his two seasons at Montana State, and is the school's single-season scoring and three-point record-holder. He was recently named the Big Sky Conference Preseason MVP and is on the 2017-18 Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Watch List, as well.
