Bobcat fans got a glimpse of the future during the Montana State women’s basketball open practice on Friday night.

The two-time defending Big Sky champions were paced by familiar faces and a few new ones, as well.
Senior point-guard Hannah Caudill posted 17 points and connected on five 3-pointers, while fellow senior Delany Junkermier added 10 points and three assists.
Sophomore forward Madeline Smith did yeoman's work under the boards with a team-best eight rebounds. She also recorded 10 points, converting five-of-seven from the field.
Perhaps the highlight of the practice came from transfer Claire Lundberg, who posted 22 points on nine-of-11 from the field. She also added five steals. The Minnesota native and Seton Hall transfer will sit out the 2017-18 campaign, but the Bobcat faithful got a taste for things to come.
Head coach Tricia Binford was pleased to finally get some video at game speed as the Cats prep for their exhibition open against Montana Tech on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
